My intention is to provide effective therapeutic services to those in need in order to foster positive well-being and to facilitate the alleviation of suffering. By working collaboratively with clients, establishing trust and promoting favorable mental health, lasting beneficial change is possible.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who has provided mental health services for more than 2 decades to youth, adults, couples, parents, families and groups, I have extensive clinical experience in counselling clients with Addiction, Anxiety, Depression, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Relationship issues and Trauma. I am also proficient in working with families dealing with divorce, separation and custody issues.

Provides clinical supervision to Master’s level Psychology students as well as private supervision and consultation.

I received my B.A. degree in Psychology from U.C., Berkeley and my M.A. degree in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University. I hold a Dual Diagnosis certification from U.C., Los Angeles.

During my first ten years as a clinician, I worked in Community Mental Health and in 2004, I established my private practice.

For the past twenty nine years, I have had the privilege of working with individuals from varying backgrounds, to include different socioeconomic levels, gender, race, ethnicity, religions, and sexual orientation.

My therapeutic style is interactive, collaborative and solution-focused.

Throughout my clinical career, I have been afforded the unique opportunity to be an educator, facilitator and supporter of positive change.

I believe that the context in which a person was born, raised and lived have significant influence and impact on one’s feelings, thoughts and behaviors. In my experience with clients, taking into consideration both their past and present experiences can lead to increased awareness and understanding, significant improvements and successful results.
